RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH OF TUCKERTON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, DESIGNATING THE MEETING DATES OF THE BOROUGH COUNCIL AND AFFILIATED BOARDS FOR THE YEAR 2026.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Tuckerton, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey that the meeting dates for the Tuckerton Borough Council for the year 2026 shall be the third Monday of each month. All the Borough Council meetings shall be called to order at 7:00 pm in the Tuckerton Borough Hall, 420 East Main Street, Tuckerton, New Jersey. In the event the third Monday should fall on a holiday, that Council shall meet on Tuesday immediately following the holiday. The schedule specifically for 2026 is as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the reorganization meeting and the swearing in ceremonies for officials of the Borough of Tuckerton elected to office in 2026, shall be held on 12 o’clocknoon on January 1, 2027, and first regular meeting of the Borough Council for 2027 shall be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2027.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the LAND USE BOARD shall meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm; the TUCKERTON HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMITTEE shall meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm; the ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION shall meet on the second Thursday of each month; the ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE shall meet on the first Monday of each month at 5:30 pm;except for the meeting in September, which will not be held; the PRIDE AND CELEBRATION COMMITTEE shall meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. All meetings will be held in the Tuckerton Borough Complex. The public will be notified of any changes in a regularly scheduled meeting date; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following dates are the Holidays the Tuckerton Borough employees will be observing and all offices except for the Police Department will be closed:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution will be posted in the Borough Hall and published in the Beacon and the Asbury Park Press and no further notice of the regularmeetings will be made until January, 2027.
