Borough of Tuckerton Community Safety

Community safety is about helping the Tukerton community to be and feel safe. It is important that you and your family feel safe where you live, work or spend your leisure time. There are ways that you can get involved to help improve the safety of your own community.

Tuckerton received extensive damage after Superstorm Sandy struck the boro on October 28, 2012. Almost 300 homes suffered extensive damage, while 32 homes were completely destroyed. Floodwaters also ravaged businesses along South green Street as well as flooding some buildings in the Tuckerton Seaport.

Tuckerton Borough works to help the Tuckerton community be and feel safe, as well as to keep the community well informed and prepared.
