The Commission meets at 7:00 PM on the first Wednesday of each month at the Borough Complex. Members of the public are welcome to attend and share their ideas.

The Commission shall conduct a comprehensive survey of the Borough of Tuckerton for the purpose of identifying historic districts and landmarks that are worthy of protection and preservation
A Certificate of Appropriateness shall be required before a permit is issued for any of the following activities or, if no other permit is required, before work can commence on any of the following activities on the property of any landmark or within the historic district. .
- Demolition of an historic landmark or of any improvement.
- Any major exterior renovation of an historic landmark or of any improvement.
- Relocation of any historic landmark or of any improvement.
- Any application for development pursuant the requirements of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law or any ordinances adopted pursuant thereto.
- Any new construction of a principal or accessory structure.
