Starting Saturday, November 22, 2025, The Tuckerton Environmental Commission will begin removing the invasive Bradford Callery Pear Trees that line our streets so that we can replace them with a native non invasive species of tree. The orange highlighted area in the image below shows the first leg of work in the process. This project is totally volunteer driven and at no cost to the taxpayers of Tuckerton. If you’d like to donate to this endeavor, send your check to Tuckerton Borough, 420 E. Main St., Tuckerton, NJ 08087 w/ Environmental Commission in the memo. If you’d like to lend a hand with this project, we’ll be meeting at 9:30 am behind Old Borough Hall on Main Street!
